The shape of the cape is based on traditional Faroese shawls. It is crocheted in a lovely blossom pattern that alternates with treble sections where the shaping happens. The blossom pattern is also used for the border in two contrasting colours. The little bag can be made from the left-over yarn. 

The v-neck of the dress is adorned with two lines of ruffles, which echo the blossom-border of the cape. The princess seams form a flattering figure-hugging silhouette. A dramatic flounce, which is sewn to the lining, accentuates the asymmetrical hemline. Flounce and ruffles are sewn in a contrasting fabric.
